Bulding Stones
In all compact (solid) stone structures, even in simple stone houses around the world, wall construction takes place ??using boulders of various rocks, such as slate, marble, granite; this is combined with smaller stones for better bonding, as well as other materials such as wood, for better stability and flexibility of the structure. The building stones have irregular shapes, different physical sizes, and are being processed by the craftsman according to the needs and aesthetics of the structure. In Pelion rocks we meet different colours, as well as strong natural linear aesthetics.
